A few days ago, the death of Kerala native actor and comedian Kalabhavan Mani shocked all South film industries. After the actor's untimely death, foul play was not ruled out and owing to a few conspiracy theories, a TV actor has now landed in trouble. Popular TV actor and anchor Tharikida Sabu was questioned by a panel of police officers. The enquiry took place last morning at the Chalakkudy CI office. It turned out that Sabu was present along with Mani and they were drinking together after which the actor passed away suddenly. Further, Sabu's name got dragged into the case because of a post on Facebook which claimed that Kalabhavan Mani died of alcohol poisoning and that this alcohol was actually bought by Sabu. However, this post turned out to be a baseless rumour and the police have apparently identified the person spreading this misinformation and have taken him into custody. Sabu has now become the second actor to come under the police scanner. Earlier, actor Jaffer Idukki had also come under suspicion. Also Read - Mollywood actor Jishnu Raghavan is no more!

The police claim that nothing is certain at the moment and only after certain medical reports arrive can they take any further action. Sabu himself has claimed that he is innocent, and that he will ensure that legal action is taken against the person who maligned his image. The truth still remains shrouded in mystery although it mostly looks like Mani's cause of death was natural.
