Dil Dhadakne Do starring Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Farhan Akhtar, Shefali Shah and Rahul Bose is finally releasing tomorrow. Directed by the very talented Zoya Akhtar, DDD is a eccentric family drama which has managed to create great buzz among the moviegoers. Obviously, the expectations are high from this film courtesy its stellar star cast and Zoya's success track record. Then there is Priyanka and Ranveer too, who have huge fan following. While Singh's last film was big dud, PeeCee on the other hand is on a roll. Her last outing Mary Kom was a huge success and the B-town beauty even swept away quite a few awards for the same. Before that, Gunday came out and it did good business too. Also, of all the stars, Ms Chopra is the one who is certainly most popular so a lot is riding on her.
Not to forget, in the past couple of months female actresses have been ruling the box office. First it was Deepika Padukone and now its Kangana Ranaut. So will Priyanka carry forward the trend? Will she rock the box office with Dil Dhadakne Do? Well, chances are quite bright that DDD will work wonders at the BO. Apart from PeeCee, the film features a lot of talented actors and we all know there is a reason why Zoya is considered to be one of the most sought after filmmakers in Bollywood today. So technically everything seems to be working for the film. However, Zoya's directorial venture has a very urban feel to it so in quite likely that it may not perform well at the single screen theatres.

"Dil Dhadakne Do is looking good for multiplexes in the metros but the key will be the word of mouth in these big 5 to 6 cities as the budget is big so these cities will have to sustain well for a couple of weeks. The content is very urban so the support from smaller centres will not be there. As with all urban films it will be Saturday that decides its fate if a big jump comes the film will have good chances to sustain and put up a good final number. The business in Overseas should be a plus where it should become the top film of the year so far as the opening is looking to be very good."
