The GV Prakash album is looking very promising
So one of the biggest happenings in South in recent times was the release of Theri's official teaser. Now, everyone is waiting eagerly for the album and the full length trailer to be unveiled. The music director for this highly anticipated film, GV Prakash Kumar has been dropping many hints about what the album will comprise of, and here is another exciting update on it. The title track of the film is mostly going to be a rap number. Also, remember the awesome background score in the Theri teaser? That is actually a snippet of the title rap song. So we have Jithu Jilladi, the opening number, a Kuthu song sung by the famous T Rajendar and now a title rap track. Could an album look any more promising than this? The biggest complaint for the Ilayathalapathy and Thala fans too is that the music for the last offerings of both of these stars, Puli and Vedalam has not been up to par. Hopefully, Theri's music will be awesome enough to wipe off the disappointed feelings of Vijay fans. Coming back to business, GV Prakash has finished the mixing of all the tracks and the album is all but ready. The film team is waiting to get a good audio label after which they will make an official announcement.
Producer S Kalaipuli Thanu, who is bankrolling Theri is planning to organise a grand music launch around March 20. The actual film will be released on 14 April on Tamil New Year.
