After marrying Gautam Rode, Pankhuri Awasthy to star in Khauff opposite Abhishek Malik

The actress is all set to make a sparkling comeback on TV

Gautam Rode and Pankhuri Awasthy's royal wedding made our heads turn. The couple tied the knot this February in a North Indian style wedding in Alwar, Rajasthan. While the duo has been dating since a long time, they made it official in 2017. And finally, they tied the knot in 2018. While the lovebirds have been missing from the small screen for quite some time, Pankhuri is soon going to set the television on fire. The actress is all set to make a sparkling comeback on TV. Pankhuri has been roped in for Colors TV's upcoming show, Khauff. It will be a horror based episodic show and Pankhuri will be a part of the show's second episode. The show will showcase the love story of a Bengali boy, played by Abhishek Malik and will be essaying the role of Partho. Pankhuri will play his love interest but her character has a twist. She will be featuring a double role in the show - Anwesha and Pauloma. While sharing about her venture to TellyChakkar, Pankhuri said, “Yes, I am doing the episodic and it’s the first time that I am playing a role in a horror series and that too of a double role.” On the other hand, Abhishek showed his excitement and told the same, “I was in Delhi for my birthday that happens to be tomorrow, 23rd May, when I got the call for the role of ‘Partho.’ I will be playing a role of a Bengali guy who will be in love with a girl and for the further twists you need to watch the episode.” Well, the show seems promising with this concept and the duo.
