If the latest grapevine is true then DP and Sr Bachchan may come together for yet another film...
Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan are currently busy shooting for Shoojit Sircar's Piku along with Irrfan Khan. While we can't wait to see the terrific trio onscreen, buzz is Ms Padukone will join hands with Agent Vinod director Sriram Raghavan for his next. The film in question is said to be the adaptation of Vikas Swarup's bestseller novel The Accidental Apprentice. In fact, we hear the Bajirao Mastani actress has already met Raghavan and the two even discussed the project. That's not all. Dippy seems to have given her nod to the film and will be able to start working on it after she wraps up Piku, Tamasha and Bajirao Mastani that is in October next year.
Interestingly, the Badlapur director is also keen on casting Big B in his film. The talented filmmaker wants Mr Bachchan to play the role of a millionaire in his coveted venture. While talking to a leading tabloid, a source said, "He believes Bachchan Sr would be ideal for the role."
While Sriram Raghavan is quite clear about the casting of his next film, things will officially materialise only after his upcoming film Badlapur starring Varun Dhawan hits the screen.
