After Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor, Indian cricketers to get roasted?

Another roast in its way and this time the target is Indian cricketers!

We all remember about the infamous All India Bakchod (AIB) roast that took place in February that became a sensational backlash. The roast had Bollywood celebrities Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and Karan Johar being roasted along with a few stand up comedians. The event was also attended by several celebs from the fraternity. But what seemed to be a fun night of exasperated jokes resulted in severe consequences. The event that created a magnanimous mixed response from people of which some even filed a suit against AIB and the celebrities.

All that being in the past now, the makers of Angry Indian Goddesses are planning yet another roast session but instead of celebrities, they are bringing in Indian cricketers, reported a leading daily. A source was quoted saying, “Instead of actors, the makers want to roast a few Indian cricketers. Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan and Axar Patel have been approached for the event, which will happen in front of a live audience.” Apparently, the roast will be conducted by the actresses of the film, Sarah Jane Dias, Sandhya Mridul, Anushka Manchanda, Tannishta Chatterjee and Amrit Maghera. The director of the film, Pan Nalin also quoted, “Yes, we have approached a few cricketers and we are planning a roast. It is just a fun thing, and we are excited about it. We are working on the dates as of now.”

When talking about roast, one can’t help reminiscing the AIB roast that garnered severe praise and criticism both, at the same time!
