This year has been fruitful for Akshay Kumar. All three films of his entered Rs 100 crores club and his cameo in Dishoom was a scene stealer. In fact, it was the most talked about thing in the film. And when his Rustomreleased his fans thought this will be the last time he'll be seen on big screen this year and audience have to until next year for Jolly LLB 2. Well looks like the fans won't have to wait for that long to catch their favourite star on the big screen. As per buzz, Akshay Kumar will be seen next in Sonakshi Sinha starrer Akira, directed by A R Murugadoss. A source even went ahead and said Akshay's role will be a big surprise in Akira.
Akira is directed by A R Murugadoss and who has directed Akshay Kumar earlier in Holiday: A Soldier is never off duty. So that explains Kumar's cameo in the movie. Also the film is Sonakshi Sinha's solo starrer which further explains Akshay's involvement in the movie. Akshay has worked with Sonakshi Sinha in several films like Rowdy Rathore, Holiday: A Soldier is never off duty, Joker etc. That explains, why he is extending his helping hand towards his co-star Sonakshi Sinha.
Thing to be noted here is Akshay Kumar was seen as gay playboy in Rohit Dhawan's Dishoom and he shined and how in just two scenes he had in the movie. So it'll be interesting to see what role he'll be playing in Akira. Considering it an action flick, we may see him in a action avatar.
