It seems the flavor of Bhabhi is a hit on Indian TV. Shilpa Shinde is the classic example of how she became extremely popular after playing Bhabhiji’s character on &TV’s Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai! After her infamous exit, Shubhangi Attrey stepped into her shoes and became popular. Even comedian Sunil Grover turned Rinku Bhabhi for The Kapil Sharma’s Show and the character became quite popular. Now there’s another actor to have jumped on the Bhabhi bandwagon. We are talking about Sughanda Mishra. Well, hold your horses before you jump to conclusions that she is going to be a part of &TV’s sitcom. As per a report on The Times of India, Sugandha Mishra will host the upcoming season of Star Plus’ Dance Plus. She’ll be joining Raghav Juyal, who has been hosting the show since its inception, as a co-host.
You wonder as to why are we tagging her as Bhabhi? Well, as per the report, Mishra won’t be hosting the show as herself. She’ll play a character on screen and take the responsibility of an anchor. Her character would be that of a Bhabhi. Talking about her character, Mishra, said, “I am really excited to join the show as the co-host. I have been a huge fan of the show. I am all the more thrilled as I will not be a usual host, but will be seen in a special character of Bhabhi, a fun quirky person adding her own flavour of masti and madness on the show.” She would be donning a peculiar look with vibrant coloured sarees, long braids and heavy jhumkas. Raghav is known for his madness and Mishra is a livewire. With both of them coming together on the stage it will be too much fun to watch the show for sure.
