It was long coming but it sure seems like the world is finally ready to listen. Tanushree Dutta and her claims against Bollywood veteran Nana Patekar raised an alarm that has now grown into a full-fledged movement against sexual predators and names are being taken as we speak. Women like Sandhya Mridul and Vinta Nanda have lent their voice to the raging furore and the courage with which they have encouraged more women to stand up and out men like Vikas Bahl and the likes is exemplary. In fact, singer Shweta Pandit has joined the ranks of brave women and has shared her #MeToo story against 'Paedophile' Anu Malik.
The singer who debuted with Yash Raj Film's Mohabbatein took to Twitter and recounted the experience when she was all 15-year-old. In a heavily worded post, she stated that he said that he would give her work if she gave him a kiss. She captioned it as, "Had to go back to my worst memory as a teenage girl today to write this and speak up - its now or never. This is my #MeToo and have to warn young girls about #AnuMalik & let you know your #TimesUp @IndiaMeToo Thank you @sonamohapatra for speaking up about him & supporting this."

That's right. She isn't the first one to have named and shamed him. Earlier, singer Sona Mohapatra had labelled him as a 'Sexual predator.' Anu Malik, on the other hand, had given a statement saying, "She's meaning some case that had happened a long time back. It has nothing to do with me. I have never worked with her also. So, I don't want to comment anything on it. She's just dragging my name into this. I have not even met her."
