Soni Razdan and Rangoli Chandel, Kangana Ranaut's sister, have engaged in a war of words on Twitter. While Soni is defending attacks on her daughter, Rangoli has come out in support of the Manikarnika actress.
It all began when Kangana’s sister Rangoli called out to Alia Bhatt and Soni Razdan, both of whom are British citizens and hence won't be voting at the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. She had written on Twitter, “These non Indians who are living off this land, using and abusing its people and its resources, lying about intolerance and spreading hatred, time to think about their agenda and not to get carried away with their provocations.”
Soni Razdan came out in support of her daughter and pointedly questioned Kangana Ranaut and Rangoli's 'agenda' , "Mahesh Bhatt is the man who has given her a break ... she goes on to attack his wife and daughter. Daughter over and over again. What is left to be said then about abusing and hatred I wonder. Apart from character of course. Agenda ? What’s hers ... ?" However, with the debate getting heated on social media, Soni Razdan deleted this post of hers.
Reacting to Soni Razdan's tweet about Mahesh Bhatt launching Kangana Ranaut, Rangoli disclosed on social media the treatment Kangana faced from the filmmaker.
Also jumping into the fray was Randeep Hooda, Alia Bhatt's co-star from Highway. Randeep cheered Alia for keeping her calm and not reacting to the controversy. Alia too acknowledged the shout out.
Rangoli had a pat reply for Randeep too, stating that the actor had harassed Kangana during the shooting of Ungli.
Trolls too, didn't spare Soni Razdan on social media.
Amidst all the unpleasantry on Twitter, Rangoli picked up on a user who suggested that Kangana was using her sister's account.
