Rashmika Mandanna's personal life may be going through a rough patch, but the actress is experiencing on a new high on the career front. Her latest release Geetha Govindam entered the prestigious Rs 100 crore club last month and is also making waves at the US box office. With such a response, her Telugu film has joined films like Baahubali, Bharat Ane Nenu and Rangasthalam among many others from the recent past. This spells a great future for Rashmika in the South film industry. Latest buzz in the South circuits suggests that director Venky Kudumula of Chalo fame wants to cast Rashmika Mandanna as his leading lady in his next. He has already signed Nithiin Reddy as the male lead. Rashmika has not yet signed on the dotted line, but Venky is positive that she will give her nod to this project. "Venky Kudumula was the one to introduce Rashmika Mandanna to the Telugu film industry with the film Chalo. He is mighty impressed with her performance in Geetha Govindam and wants to work with her again," says a source.
About her current projects, Rashmika will be seen once again with Vijay Deverakonda in Comrade. She is awaiting the release of her upcoming multistarrer Devadas which stars Akkineni Nagarjuna and Nani in the lead roles. On the other hand, Nithiin's last three films Srinivasa Kalyanam, Lie and Chal Mohan Ranga turned out to be flops. His last hit movie was A..Aa, in which Samantha Akkineni played the female lead.
