This is not our opinion! These are the comments we found on All India Bakchod's YouTube channel
After acquainting audiences with stand-up and their comic sketches, the All India Bakchod boys (Rohan Joshi, Tanmay Bhatt, Gursimran Khamba and Ashish Shakya) presented what was so far, a foreign concept – insult comedy. Taking cue from Comedy Central’s Roast, the AIB Knockout set the stage for a hilariously brazen exchange between roasters AIB, the roast master Karan Johar, panelists Rajeev Masand, Aditi Mittal, Abish Mathew and Raghu Ram and the “roastees”, Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh where everybody on stage hurled unflattering and outrageous comments about the two actors in front of 4000 people watching it Live while the Gunday co-stars sit and take it all in with a smile and of course, a pinch of salt.
I personally was elated after watching the AIB Knockout for it is the best thing that has happened in country like India where all of us tend to mellow down because of our "culture". In fact, I liked it so much that I have been watching it on YouTube all day long, but those comments just below the videos are something that I couldn't ignore. There are people who are offended by the nasty and politically incorrect insults that were thrown, while there are some, like me who found it implausible. Here's how the masses have reacted to the very first AIB Knockout:
Karun Mittal - Why are people being such prudes? Seriously, this isn't an advertisement being forced down on you. Watch it if you like it, else there is a "cross" icon at the top which closes the window, you might as well try it. I myself loved it, though I agree that the profanity was stretched at just a few moments.
Pratyush Samal - A tad bit disappointed .... Expected a bit more...Too much of repeated generic jokes..You guys are more than that! . U cant use vulgarity just for the sake of it.... Vulgarity is funny when it's timed ... Just uttering obscene words isn't funny!
Kumar Gautam - The first show in India. Of course copied from Hollywood where they chanted the dialogues as it is. They didn't even translated in Hindi. This is called the real copy of Hollywood.
Rohan Mistry - India needs AIB, but it doesn't deserve it! people of India take offence very easily.
Sangram Babbar - I was okay with almost 70% of the content but still it offended me.They do not need to go on to the vulgar side to make it funny.
