Rajkummar Rao was to soon start shooting with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for Fanney Khan days but his coming schedules have come a grinding halt as the actor ended up severely injuring his leg while rehearsing for Farah Khan's Lig Singh Battle.He was to perform opposite Kriti Sanon on the show. As per reports on Mumbai Mirror the actor will undergo surgery today for the injury. Farah revealed that the doctor was confident he will recover but he would need at least 4-5 weeks to recuperate form this injury completely. So what does this mean for his film Fanney Khan where he is reportedly to have combined scenes with Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. “We learnt about the mishap on Sunday and the schedule will be changed accordingly. We will resume work on Rajkummar's portions as soon as he recovers as he has combination scenes with both Anil sir and Aishwarya. Our earlier plan was to wrap up by November. Now, we will know on Tuesday how much time he will need to recover. For now, we will finish the solo portions with Anil sir, Aishwarya and the other actors.So the shooting is not delayed.“
At a recent trailer launch Rajkummar admitted to being nervous about shooting with Aishwarya Rai. When asked about they equation they share, he candidly equated to Sulphuric acid - "“It is H2SO4 types. There is a love angle between us and I am looking forward to it. I am little nervous to romance the most beautiful lady of the world.” Now fans will have to wiat longer to seem them together, till then the show goes on, on the sets of Fanney Khan.
Rajkummar Rao has had a great run this year - He has been hugely praised for his performances in Trapped, Behen Hogi Teri, Bareilly Ki Barfi and most recently Newton. In fact, his latest film has been announced as the official entry for Oscars 2018.
