After dishing out one of the finest films of the decade, Kahaani, director Sujoy Ghosh was supposed to team up with Vidya Balan yet again for Durga Rani Singh. But sadly, there was a fallout between the actress and the director, and the project has been on hold since then.
Few days back, news broke that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who made a comeback with Sanjay Gupta's Jazbaa has signed two film deal with director Sujoy Ghosh, one of them being Durga Rani Singh. Yesterday, reports stated that Vidya Balan had apparently patched up with Sujoy Ghosh over coffee and that she has said yes to be a part of Durga Rani Singh. Again, today Aishwarya Rai has quoted that her two film deal with Sujoy is sill on. " I've known Sujoy from the time he made his first film Jhankar Beats. He has been offering me films since then. I loved the two films that he offered me now. So I said yes to them", said the Bachchan Bahu.
So, are you confused by the back and forth ping pong game of Sujoy Ghosh's Durga Rani Singh? So are we! While Aishwarya's quotes suggest that she is the lead, reports have claimed that Vidya has sorted out things with the filmmaker and is a part of Durga Rani Singh?
