Akshay Kumar seems to have made Republic Day his own. Every year he either releases a patriotic film or takes up an initiative for the betterment of the jawans fighting at the border. This year, once again, the actor has come up with an initiative to show support to the army men. In fact, his plan of action is something that will let you help the family of deceased soldiers, who died fighting for the country. The actor shared a video on Twitter where he first clarified how his professional work and personal opinions must be kept aside. Soon he shifted the focus to how he has thought of an idea by which the citizens of the country can directly be of monetary service to the families of jawans. While it has been happening for years that we've lost a lot of soldiers at the border, very few families have been able to survive post the death of their bread earner.
Hence, Kumar has thought of a brilliant plan of action for the same. He says that if there is an app on the phone that can directly connect an individual to the family of the deceased jawan, then there won't be any error in communication. A lot of times because of the strenuous official procedures that individuals go through, many are unable to help the families who have faced the repercussions of the death of a jawan. Akshay plans to introduce an app that would result in a direct centre of communication between individuals who wish to help the families. In the video, he has explained how the app will work and how if only 15,000 citizens come together, they'll be able to save a family that has undergone lose of one of their important members. He has urged everyone to step up and give this initiative a chance. Check out his video below. The video started with him clarifying the fact that despite what he portrays in films, his personal views are poles apart. Respecting women is not a choice but a responsibility which he highly values. There were certain politicos who called him a hypocrite as what he says doesn't reflect in his films. Akshay spoke about this as well when he said that he wants people to realise that his professional front and work beliefs are poles apart and need to be treated that way. A few weeks ago post the Bengaluru molestation case, the actor went on an angry rant as he lashed at people for their minuscule mentality. This is not the first time the actor has spoken up or undertaken social responsibilities. On several occasions Akshay Kumar has showcased his support for the army men fighting at the border for the country.
