Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha, Imran Khan, Jay Bhanushali perform for Jashn-e-Eid

Colors brings in the festival of Eid with much fanfare as Bollywood and Tellywood collaborate on stage

For the first time, Akshay Kumar will be seen along with famous Pakistani duo- Shabri Brothers who are known for their soulful Sufi song singing qawaali –Chadta Suraj. Also Read - Akshay Kumar's Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue trailer impresses everyone, 'a promising film on the way'

Popular television jodis like Jay Bhanushali – Mahii Vij and Aamir Ali-Sanjeeda Sheikh were seen grooving to songs like Ghagra from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Oye boy Charlie from Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola and Kajra re from Bunty Aur Babli. Joining them on the stage was Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’s favourite dancer Lauren Gottileb and Roopal Tyagi. The duo picked several mujra numbers to perform for the occasion. Heartthrobs Gurmeet Choudhary and Karan Wahi set the stage on fire. Rithvik Dhanjiani and comedian Bharti Singh will play hosts and provide some comic relief.

Wishing the audiences on this auspicious occasion Sonakshi Sinha said,“Eid is a very special festival and this year it is even more special as I'm celebrating it with the team of Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara. Wishing all Eid Mubarak.” Akshay Kumar added, “Eid is one of my favourite festivals, and I do something special on it every year. I really had blast this time celebrating it with Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobaara team.”

Lauren Gottlieb who seemed much excited about her performance said, “This is the first time I am celebrating Eid and it feels great to be part of all the festivities. It was fun performing on the mujra song and dressing up in a bright colored anarkali was like a dream come true.”
