The satirical comedy also stars Bhumi Pednekar.
We had earlier reported about how Akshay Kumar is going to be a part of the quirkily titled Toilet Ek Prem Katha.
We then heard nothing more about the film, as Akshay Kumar came up with his Nanavati inspired Rustom, and also announced to the world on Independence Day that he will collaborating with Neeraj Pandey for the third time, Crack. Akshay Kumar also released the first poster of the film, which is scheduled to release on Independence Day next year.

There have been murmurs that Crack is actually Toilet Ek Prem Katha with a new name. However, as per a report in DNA, both the films exist, and Akshay Kumar will be shooting for the satirical comedy before he starts work on Crack. The film that stars Bhumi Pednekar in the lead will go on the floors in November and will wrap up by February 2017. Depicting the current sanitation and hygiene related issues, the film is based on Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan, the cleanliness drive initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
