Singh Is Bliing roared big at the box office last Friday. With the film already making 73.40 crore at the box office in last six days, SIB is definitely keeping everyone happy. Friday brought in 20.67 crore which is only second to Bajrangi Bhaijaan's over 27 crore on its first day at the box office which is definitely incredible. It also turned out to be Akshay Kumar's biggest opener ever in his entire career. A lot of reasons to be elated about and also a lot of reasons to look forward to a sequel. Turns out you don't have to look for too long. Apparently, Raftar Singh will be reprised again and Akshay will do the honours once more!
Akshay's brainless comedy may not have interested the intelligent minds but the masses loved it. It is one of those films which you go to just for the entertainment factor and nothing else. You laugh at those zany jokes, at Akshay's weird antic and feel like erupting in loud applause at some of his dialogues. The film was never meant to be taken seriously as it is not a serious film at all. No wonder that made producer Ashvini Yardi think of a sequel too. Apparently, Yardi feels that given the way Raftar Singh and his craziness got loved, they might think of a sequel soon.
