Alia Bhatt on casting couch in Bollywood: Some people could use strugglers for their benefit

Alia Bhatt's surprising revelation about casting couch in Bollywood will leave you stunned!

After nepotism, casting couch has suddenly become the topic of discussion in Bollywood. After the Harvey Weinstein scandal was exposed in America, several Bollywood stars came out in the open and told the world how they have faced casting couch too. Richa Chadha, Radhika Apte, Kalki Koechlin and Swara Bhaskar opened up about their shocking experiences. However, stars like Ranbir Kapoor have denied experiencing or knowing about its existence in Bollywood. RK's girlfriend Alia Bhatt has also denied facing it, but she did accept that casting couch does exist in the Hindi film industry.

While talking about casting couch, Alia Bhatt revealed to Deccan Chronicle, "I know and do understand that at times, many boys and girls have to go through bad situations in order to be able to fetch some work. Everyone has to face their own battle of struggle in order to be able to get work in this industry. And during their struggle some people could use the strugglers for their benefit." But what's her advice for the one's who experience such situations? The actress added, "They should always believe in themselves. However, if at all they are confronted with this bad moment (casting couch) they need to immediately inform their parents. And thereafter go to the police."
