Alia Bhatt is the finest we have in the industry today and there are no two ways about it. But apart from that, the talented (not just a) actress is a doting daughter to her parents Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan too. And it was clearly evident when the actress went out of her way and stood for her mom's film No Fathers In Kashmir. If you are not in the know, Alia Bhatt recently ringed in her 26th birthday by dancing the night away with pals. But that's not all she did, on the same occasion, she released the teaser of the Soni Razdan's film. Both Alia and her mother have been each other's strong support and it is endearing in more ways than one.
The diva had even requested CBFC on social media to issue the desired certification to the makers of her mom's film. She had written, "Was soo looking forward to mom's @nofathers_movie #nofathersinkashmir!! @Soni_Razdan @ashvinkumar & team worked super hard for this honest teens love story in Kashmir. Really hope the CBFC would #lifttheban. It’s a film about empathy & compassion..let’s give love a chance!??❤️"

However, that's not even the best part. Reportedly, Alia is all set to turn host and organise a special screening. It will be held in the city for all the industry peeps and members of the Bhatt family will be attending the screening too. No Fathers In Kashmir is directed by Oscar-nominated director Ashvin Kumar. The film is based in the Kashmir valley and traces the love story of two 16-year-old children, who are in search of their fathers, who have gone missing. It is releasing this Friday, on the 5th.
On the work front, Alia is gearing up for the release of Abhishek Varman's period drama, Kalank, which features Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit. The film releases on April on 17. Apart from Kalank, Alia has Brahmastra opposite Ranbir Kapoor and Takht co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Ranveer Singh, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.
