90s is known mostly because of the super-iconic stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan it gave us along with Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar. It was also meant for DDLJ, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Oh o Jaane Jaana and setting fashion trends. But what stands out from that decade was the music. There was something for everyone then. No wonder that often the songs from the 90s get recreated now. Ok Jaanu had Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur groove to Humma humma and now Badrinath Ki Dulhania sees Tamma tamma in a completely different avatar with Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan dancing to the beats. And that brings us to our question, which of these reprised 90s gems did you enjoy the most. We will give you reasons to like both but the final decision will be yours.
Starting with Humma humma just because it came first. Badshah's rap was added to the song and it was re-done by the rapper and Tanishk Bagchi. Jubin Nautiyal, Shashaa Tirupati sung the song. Shraddha and Aditya's hot chemistry uplifted the track. It was a slightly mellowed down version of the original song by A R Rahman and that sets it apart from the earlier number as well. Check out the video here.
Now it's time for Tamma tamma again. It's Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan, so definitely it will be full of life and extremely energetic. That exactly what it was. But there is one thing that gives it an edge over The Humma song, the original voices of Anuradha Paudwal and Bappi Lahiri. That was the biggest clincher here because nobody can create their charm. It is our pick if we are made to vote between the two.
But since it is your choice we are looking for, vote below and tell us now!
