We hear many celebrities telling men to be alert to protect women in society given how crimes against them are increasing by the day. Here is one actor who proved that vigilance can go a long way. TV actor Amar Upadhyay who is now seen as Dharam in Rashmi Sharma's Saath Nibhaana Saathiya was shooting in Madh Island. There, he spotted a group of three boys clicking pictures of girls on the beach. Of course, they were not their friends but were doing this slyly. The actor confronted the boys and told them to delete all the pictures. They did not agree and a verbal spat ensued. When they did not agree, he snatched their cameras and erased the snaps.
This report came out in The Times of India and the actor told the publication, "I first thought the boys were practising photography on the beach, but when I saw what they were actually doing, I was aghast. As responsible citizens, it is our duty to raise voice against such wrong happenings." We indeed commend the actor for being such a vigilant citizen. Celebrities are requesting male members of society to be more sensitive about women's issues and Amar has set an example. The actor was also all praises for Narendra Modi's move of demonetisation. He believes that self defence is a must for girls. His daughter, Chenab is also into martial arts.
We wish that other men also take a leaf out of your book Amar and not be immune to what is happening around them. Stay tuned to Bollywood Life for more scoop and updates...
