Amitabh Bachchan, Rekha honoured at 100 Years of Indian Cinema event

Sridevi, Mohanlal and Mammootty were among the other stars felicitated at the finale of the Indian cinema centenary celebrations

President of India Pranab Mukherjee on Tuesday night honoured Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, Amitabh Bachchan and others for their contribution to Indian cinema. Also Read - Rekha, Govinda, Elvish Yadav and more celebs attend Shilpa Shetty's Sukhee premiere

Sridevi and Rekha from Bollywood, K Vishwanath from Tollywood, MS Viswanathan from Kollywood and Mohanlal and Mammootty from Mollywood were among others who were honoured by the President. Superstar Rajinikanth and many other popular personalities took part in the event, organised by the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce, with support from the Tamil Nadu government.
