The actress disagrees with people who think Aarfa was regressive
With Sultan Anushka Sharma has become one of the few actresses who have worked with the three Khans. Not only she starred alongside alongside Salman Khan in Sultan but also managed to grab everyone's attention, despite the movie being hero-centric. Ms Sharma's hard work and dedication for her character Aarfa was appreciated by many. But there were a few who were not so thrilled to about the same. and thought the character to be regressive. Hitting back at those people, the actress said at a press conference held at a Panvel farmhouse "Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, however I don't agree with that is was regressive"
Clearly the actress is totally calm about it, and pretty secure about her own stance and Aarfa. She further adds "In fact, I think it was progressive because she made the decision herself and he didn't force her. It was a choice to have a child or not to have a child and she chose to have the child. And she would go back to wrestling like she eventually does." This stand by the actress comes after many fans on social media lost their calm over how they thought Aarfa and her portrayal was regressive and bashed the film!
Salman Khan was also present at the press con being held near the sets of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in Panvel.
Salman is churning big number at the box office. On it's 9th day the sports based drama has minted 229.16 crores.
