Well, for those of you who cannot move over ex-factor we have some news...
Everyone knows that Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif have shared a past with Ranbir Kapoor. While Deepika moved on from her ex boyfriend and found love and companionship in Ranveer Singh, Katrina is currently rocking her single status after split with Kapoor Jr. However, looks like the two babes just find common grounds. Well, the two beauties now have another Bollywood superstar in common. Without confusing you any further let's reveal what exactly we are talking about here.
We all know that Katrina Kaif was the first choice for Salman Khan's next production venture. Khan has collaborated with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and is producing an action series that will feature Sushant Singh Rajput. While buzz was that Katrina was the chosen one, just a few days back news of Jacqueline Fernandez being roped in made headlines. However, going by sources close to the actress Katrina had to opt out of this film due to date issues.
Now Deepika too like Katrina was to feature in a Salman Khan movie. It was her dream come true moment to work with Salman. The actress who is currently busy filming her Hollywood debut opposite Vin Diesel,
was keen to work with Salman. In fact, she was keen on taking up Kabir Khan's next film tentatively titled xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage Tubelight. However, we now hear that Dippy lost out in this role and now the makers are keen to rope in a Chinese actress opposite Salman. BollywoodLife in an EXCLUSIVE report revealed details of Deepika's ouster from this movie.
Coming to our point, both
Deepika and Katrina bagged a Salman Khan movie recently. While one actress would have romanced the hero the other would have featured in a film backed by him. But both these heroines lost out on that big chance. And now after Ranbir, Sultan Salman Khan has become the common aspect between the two babes. Interesting, isn't it?
