Content creator Apoorva Mukhija, popularly known as The Rebel Kid, who was previously embroiled in India’s Got Talent controversy, recently shared a candid video detailing her extravagant Rs 3 lakh makeover before her birthday vacation. True to her witty style, Apoorva joked, “God gave me the attitude of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, but not her face. People don’t call me lovingly… because they don’t call me with love at all.” Apoorva shared the complete video of her transformation on her YouTube channel, revealing the various procedures, including hair, pedicure, dental transformation, skin treatments, nails, and laser hair removal.
Apoorva began her makeover with a free hair colouring session, thanks to a brand collaboration. She also pampered herself with a salon pedicure, joking with her stylist, “You can’t bleach my hair because I have only four left. If these fall too, I’ll need a hair transplant!” Next, she invested in dental veneers. This was something she had always wanted, as she never liked her natural teeth. Her beauty spree continued at a dermatologist’s clinic, where she underwent a procedure involving her blood; nutrients from it were injected into her face for a natural glow. In order to be party-ready for her next trip, she then went to a nail salon for acrylic extensions.
Final touches were the focus of the next day. After almost ten years of shaving, Apoorva decided to have her entire body laser hair removed, have her eyebrows shaped, and even receive intravenous drips to increase her energy levels for the journey.
After all the procedures, Apoorva revealed her new look in the video. Surprisingly, she confessed that despite spending close to Rs 3 lakh, she didn’t feel she looked drastically different. “Whatever little change you see is probably because of makeup,” she laughed. The only significant change, she admitted, was her teeth — something her audience has mixed opinions about. Ending on a humorous note, she said, “Nothing really changed… except my teeth, which you all seem to hate.
