Well, TV has opened gates for many film actors who are being seen as judges across reality shows. As per sources, the ravishing Raveena Tandon and talented Arshad Warsi will be seen as judges on the new reality show, Sabse Bada Kalakaar on Sony TV. The show is based on acting talents of kids from the age group of 4-12 years. The show promises to choose children as per their acting talents. After Super Dancer Sony is once again looking at beefing up their non-fiction content.
Raveena and Arshad shot for the promo this week. They have not worked together in any film but on TV they came on the same platform for the show 'Comedy Ka Maha Muqabala' on Star Plus. So, once again TV unites these actors. They may be not be active in films but have a body of work, which is quite commendable.
Raveena was one of the first few actresses who did a TV serial while doing films. She had made her debut with Sahib Biwi Gulam on Sahara TV. Later on, she appeared as a judge on Colors show Chote Miyan as well. She did a chat show but that did not work. Post her marriage with film distributor Anil Thadani Raveena has been busy with her two kids. But now her kids are grown up and she is ready to take on more work in all fields.
Arshad Warsi got fame on TV with Bigg Boss season 1 in 2006. Prior to that, he had done shows like Razzmatazz (Zee TV) and Karishma - Miracles of Destiny (Sahara One) but it was Bigg Boss season one that brought forth his funny side.
Arshad and Raveena both have a sense of humour and that's what made the makers and Sony TV choose them as judges of this reality show. The show will go air in February 2017 end and will air on the weekend slot. We guess it might replace Indian Idol on the channel. Stay tuned to Bollywood Life for more updates...
