After much anticipation, Dhurandhar finally hit the big screens on Friday. The emotions of the entire team are at an all-time high, as they see their years of hard work come to life. Actor Yami Gautam, Director Aditya Dhar’s wife, has shared a post that celebrated the hard work and resilience that went into making one of the most anticipated movies of the year. The post started by acknowledging the efforts of Aditya Dhar, the central force guiding the project. She applauded Dhar and said, “You have given all your heart, devotion, dedication, intent, passion, sweat, blood, and tears (which you never show) to this film, Aditya!!!”

She also praised and congratulated the entire team of Dhurandhar and said,“And it’s DHURANDHAR DAY today !!!! Some of the hardest working & gem of people that I know & proud to call them my family !!! You have given all your heart, devotion, dedication, intent, passion, sweat, blood, tears (which you never show) to this film, Aditya !!! Too many emotions running today, many hearts beating together !!! You guys are Dhurandhars in your own might. DHURANDHAR Is not a parting gift of 2025 but is here to welcome 2026 for all of us across the globe (sic).”

The makers of the film are planning to release Dhurandhar in two parts. The movie stars Ranveer Singh with Sanjat Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Sara Arjun and is finally out on the big screens on December 5. With a runtime of 214 minutes (3 hours 34 minutes), it has made it the longest Bollywood film of the last 17 years, after Hrithik Roshan’s Jodhaa Akbar. The movie’s plot revolves around the backdrop of the IC-814 hijacking, which took place in 1999, and the Indian Parliament attack of 2001. The movie is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar.
