Brie Larson is the newest member to join the Avengers troop. Her movie Captain Marvel released in theatres last month and this newbie has charmed us all with her performance and stunts in the movie. Now, the actress is all set to appear in the final chapter of the Avengers franchise, Avengers: Endgame. When the trailer of film dropped her short cute impactful cameo in the theatre won many hearts and not to forget the link up of Thor and Carol Danvers by the fans which paved the way for some hilarious memes. Being the latest addition to the franchise, the actress feels that she has entered in the Avengers universe at a really special time and we agree!
As you may all know, the Avengers cast is currently touring various countries for promotional activities. Recently, Brie along with Robert Downey Jr, Jeremy Renner and others visited South Korea for the fan event. Brie turned emotional seeing the fans gathered in huge numbers. Not only she the humungous gathering left Tony Stark, the wittiest guy on this planet aka Robert Downey Jr teary-eyed. There during an exclusive media interaction, Brie revealed that she believes to have come into play in the franchise at a special time.
“I feel really lucky. I came at a really special time. My first day was at the 10-year anniversary photo. So I got the time to connect with everybody from this family before I went off on my own. Obviously (it is) a really tight-knit group. You know, these are the people who have done movies for a really long time together. But, I felt like I was extremely welcomed in there.'' the actress said.
She also spoke about her experience of joining original Avengers, Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Captain America (Chris Evans), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) who are like a gang already. Was it any difficult? Well, if you have seen Captain Marvel and the trailer wherein she stands with her head held high in front of the God of thunder, Thor you would know, she is one sassy woman. She elaborated on the same saying, ''The thing is, there’s a lot of sass in that group. And Carol also has a lot of sass. So it feels like there is a lot of strength in that room between all of them. And so that banter has kind of always been there with the team. And I think she knows how to tap into that sense of humour too.''
When questioned whether she was nervous about joining MCU so late? here's what she, “I am an introvert. So going on a giant press tour and getting to be on a stage in this way was really scary. I took the longest time to wrap my head around it. I loved the character. I love what they wanted to do with the film. I was totally on board. Getting to eat street food and wander around in shops, those are the things that not only give me life, but also the stuff that goes back into the characters I play. And so this hypothetical idea that those things might not be the same anymore was really intense to think about. But so far, so good. It has been really lovely. And people have been incredibly respectful.”
