Maniesh Paul and Anupam Kher will be seen together in the upcoming film Ba Baa Black Sheep. The first trailer of the film dropped today and it looks like an interesting watch. The plot of the film seems fresh and innovative. A 25-year-old jobless man (Maniesh) discovers that his family lineage is that of contract killers for the past 12 generations. His father (Anupam) trains him to follow suit in the family business. While the plot till now is comical enough it further thickens when Maniesh's girlfriend's father turns out to be the next target of the killer family. The girlfriend is played by Manjari Fadnis (Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na) and the father is played by Anu Kapoor. Also, there is Kay Kay Menon playing a cop, again, in the mix trying to catch the contract killers. A lot goes down in the two and a half minute trailer and Ba Baa Black Sheep might turn out to be a fun caper. The film is presented by Soham Rockstar Entertainment, produced by Anand Swarup Agarwal and Krishna Datla and it is directed by Vishwas Paandya.
The trailer of the film subtly does reminds us of Anupam's film Khosla Ka Ghosla. Remember how Anupam had to become a con man in the film's narrative to save the plot of land he bought with his life savings.
While the story showed in the trailer looks interesting, the theme song playing in the background is a bit annoying. It might get on your nerves and we hope it is not a repeating factor in the film.
