The music is composed by Amaal Mallik, Manj Musik, Ankit Tiwari and Meet Bros.
Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor's Baaghi had impressed with its interesting trailer that had some very cool stunts. Then there were songs that were that are now ruling the charts. Now comes the entire album of the film, directed by Sabbir Khan. Here's what we felt about the music!
It's always good to start your album with a slow romantic song. It's the easiest way to make the best impression, and Baaghi does just that! The lilting melody, composed by Amaal Mallik and sung by Armaan Malik (I am becoming a fan of his voice) and a very impressive Shraddha Kapoor, will definitely steal your hearts with its easy-going charm! Sure to be on your playlist and be there for a long time!
Let's Talk About Love
You have seen Tiger and Shraddha grooving Shammi style in the video of the song, and you know how infectious the beats. This song is enough to draw the crowds to the theatre, if the action and the explosive trailer aren't incentives! Raftaar and Neha Kakkar get playful with each other in this party song of the season, and Manj Musik makes sure the funky beats compensate for the inane lyrics!
Since many portions of the films is set in Kerala, and it mostly rains there, you have to have one song about rains! Well, here arrives Cham Cham, which could be Shraddha's entry song, if I could hazard a guess! The Meet Bros. composed song is fun while it lasts, but doesn't make much of an impact as compared the earlier songs, despite Monali Thakur's energetic singing!
Agar Tu Hota
Filling in the required tragic song is Agar Tu Hota. Ankit Tiwari has composed and sung the song, and he has done a very good job at that. The composition is fine, but it reminds me of Galliyan from Ek Villain, and that kinds robs the song of its individuality . Still, a pleasant listen!
Girl I Need You
When you hear this one and get reminded of Akon, do join the club! Meet Bros. gives a fresh take on the romantic songs with Girl I need You. If you can get past the Akon-influenced rap by Roach Killa, the song still impresses you, especially the singing of Arijit Singh (as always) and Khushboo Grewal. Especially loved the flute interlude!
Baaghi certainly doesn't disappoint when it comes to its soundtrack, as most of the songs are very pleasant to hear. If you are in the mood for some youthful music, this is one album you can get hold of!
Sab Tera, Let's Talk ABout Love, Girl I Need You.
