When the shooting for Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starrer was progressing, director SS Rajamouli perhaps knew the importance of his film and decided to release in three languages- Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. And looks like this decision really paid off. Not only did the epic became the best movie in 2015 in Tollywood and Kollywood, it also made a massive impact in B-town too. Rajamouli even won a Padma Shri for his directorial efforts and there are talks of video games and comics books on the Baahubali universe. But the best news is yet to be confirmed.
The director of the magnum opus has stated that if everything goes well and he has no commitments, then there is a possibility that he might collaborate with Bollywood giant Karan Johar! The Kuch Kuch Hota Hai director distributed the Hindi version of Baahubali. Also, Rajamouli is a huge demand in Bollywood too and has received several offers. When asked about this, the director hinted that he would certainly like to direct a movie for Dharma Productions, which is the production house of Karan Johar. However, all of these grand plans are just ifs and buts at the moment as Rajamouli is completely occupied with the sequel of the historic epic.
When asked about the movie, he said that Baahubali is a never-ending franchise and that even if the main story is over, there are lot of other stories that make the Baahubali world.
We really hope to see both these great directors working together in the near future.
