Badshah is all set to rock the music charts. Fans are nowhere remotely close to getting over grooving to his songs, and the rapper-musician is all set to drop a new album. Not to forget that he has some cool Bollywood projects lined up as well. Though, in a recent interview with Mid-Day, the rapper has hinted that he might not be content with the way the film industry treats him. He revealed that he has become the "clean-up guy" for Bollywood.
When asked about future Bollywood projects, Badshah said, "I am working on Namaste England and Stree. Bollywood normally calls me at the eleventh hour. I am the clean-up guy. When a film is about to release, they approach me and say, 'Boss ek gaana de do.' Then, I don't have the time to give them options. I tell them, 'I have this song, if you like it, take it.' That's how I normally function when it comes to movies," (ALSO READ: Zee5 original Lockdown trailer: Badshah, Kailash Kher, Raftaar come together to recreate chartbusters – watch video)
Well, if his last-minute efforts are so good, imagine what all he can achieve with more time in his hands. We can't wait for his album to release. Talking about which he said, "I always wanted to make an album. It didn't matter if the 'trend' of creating albums was a thing of the past. There are 17 songs in this offering, and not one of them is treated as an option. I didn't want to make an album merely for the sake of doing so. I want to entertain my fans by giving them songs that they can cherish. Though, I fear, some of the songs might not see their full potential."
Badshah is the hitmaker behind the songs like DJ Waley Babu, Abhi to Party Shuru Hui Hai, Mercy, Kar Gayi Chull to name a few.
