Three years back, director SS Rajamouli started shooting for a period magnum opus called Bahubali. Little did he know that his dream project will take such an epic form.
Made at a approximate budget of Rs 195 crore, the film boasts a star studded cast including Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah, Ramya Krishnan, Nasser, Sathyaraj and Kiccha Sudeep. Bahubali, which is releasing in two parts in three languages, is being backed by Karan Johar. With the first part Bahubali-The Beginning slated to release on July 10, the ace director SS Rajamouli has been in a spree to unveil first looks of all the characters.
At last, Rajamouli shared the first look of Rana Daggubati's character, Bhallaladeva, who is said to be one of the greatest antagonist of all times. Sharing the look, Rajamouli tweeted," Strength Unmatched. Power Unchallenged. Mind Unread. #Bhallaladeva #TheTyrantKing #Baahubali the beginning #LiveTheEpic".
Even Karan Johar tweeted," The largest motion picture made in india..#Baahubali!! #Bhallaladeva is revealed today...@ssrajamouli #LiveTheEpic". The poster shows a Rana Daggubati in epic period avatar, swinging a gadha in his hand . Rana had mentioned before that his character will be as evil as Duryodhana from Mahabharat and Ravana from Ramayan. And going by the looks of the poster, Rana definitely looks every bit menacing.
