The film remains steady at the domestic box office...
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's Bajirao Mastani has already been praised by one and all and now it seems that the good word of mouth publicity has helped the film to have a good occupancy throughout the weekend and the second Monday too. The film added another Rs 5.60 crore on Monday to take its total domestic nett collection to Rs 126.05 crore at the end of 11 days.
The film witnessed a drop in collections and occupancy on the second Monday, however the film is still steady. As trade analyst Taran Adarsh revealed, "#BajiraoMastani [Week 2] Fri 12.25 cr, Sat 10.30 cr, Sun 11.75 cr, Mon 5.60 cr. Total: Rs 126.05 cr. India biz. STEADY!"
The film has been clawing back the advantage Shah Rukh Khan's Dilwale had in the collection and is expected to cross the domestic collections of Dilwale by today. Bajirao Mastani out-performed Dilwale over the weekdays and the second weekend. As Taran Adarsh suggested, "2nd weekend biz at a glance:- #Dilwale Rs 21.23 cr ... #BajiraoMastani Rs 34.30 cr ... COMBINED 2nd weekend total: Rs 55.53 cr. India biz."
The percentage decline in business from first weekend to second weekend was also been lesser for Bajirao Mastani. As Taran adarash adds, "Decline in biz from 1ST WEEKEND to 2ND WEEKEND: #Dilwale 67.38%, #BajiraoMastani 26.66% India biz."
Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani is also performing well at the international box office. And with no release till January 8 and a good word of mouth publicity, Bajirao Mastani is all set to have a good run at the box office.
