The actor had a fun time dubbing for the film...
Salman Khan stole our hearts with his loyal Lord Hanuman worshipper avatar in the blockbuster film Bajrangi Bhaijaan. He is set to make way for Lord Hanuman on screen again with a new venture. He has dubbed for Hanuman in an upcoming animated film for children. We are there.
Sudhir Mishra popular for Hazaaron Khwahishein Aisi, will be directing the children's film titled Hanuman Da Damdar. Ruchi Narain approached Salman for the role- voice of adult Hanuman in the film. Talking to a news daily Ruchi revealed about her experience working with Salman. "He's the kind of actor who once he gets the ball, runs with it and always scores. His improvisations had us in splits. He'd look at us and ask, "Zyada ho gaya kya?" And we'd assure him he was just great. Sometimes, in between shots, he'd croon, "Main hoon Hanuman tera" she said. Well we are eagerly waiting for this film. We are sure kids will love it just as much as they love Salman's Selfie Le Le Re.
This isn't the first time an animated children's film has been made around mythologies and Gods, there have been many examples in the past. Some have been a hit, some flop. Even Katrina Kaif has appeared in a cameo in a semi live action movie based on Hindu God Krishna.
Salman is currently basking in the glory coming his way with the success of his last film Sultan. In the movie the actor took up the tough role of a wrestler and nailed it. The movie was a blockbuster and was loved by critics. Talking about Salman's other commitments, he is all set to start shooting for Kabir Khan's next Tubelight from August 8 in the chilling weather and scenic beauty of Ladakh.
