Farhan Akhtar-Ritesh Sidhwani's latest production venture is here. Have a look at the first trailer...
The makers of Bangistan have released the first trailer of the movie. The film starring Riteish Deshmukh, Pulkit Samrat, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arya Babbar and Chandan Roy Sanyal is a religious satire. Sadly though, the trailer doesn't look that funny. Directed by Karan Anshuman and produced by Farhan Akhtar-Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment, this film is all set to hit the theatres on July 31, 2015. Here's what I feel about it... Highlights:
-Riteish Deshmukh is in his usual self and is hilarious. Not just his comic timing, but even his facial expressions are fabulous. Even his dialogues have been well scripted and he puts them forward with equal panache. -Pulkit Samrat is way out of his league and isn't funny. His dialogues seem pretty forced on. Also Read - From Deepika Padukone to Jacqueline Fernandez: 5 actors who showed having a dirty mind is a blessing in disguise
-Jacqueline Fernandez may have minimal screenspace but she is fab. She looks chic and stylish and even her dance steps looks fantastic. Two trailers in two day, Brothers and Bangistan, she is definitely on a roll.
-The concept is innovative. The thought of creating a completely different nation, which has a religious strife pretty similar to that of the present day situation across India-Pakistan. The Hindu-Muslim strife has been well portrayed.
-The background score seems good and if that's a part of a song, it will definitely be a chartbuster.
The storyline talks about two wannabe terrorists, who are dumb and dumber. There is some Hindu-Muslim conference happening in Poland, and the leaders of both group send someone from their team to create havoc there. One guy, who is Muslim by birth, is disguised and sent as a Hindu, while the other is Hindu by birth and is sent as a Muslim. Sounds funny and interesting, hai na?
