Ganeshotsav is just around the corner and the first song dedicated to the elephant God this year is going to be released tomorrow...
Riteish Deshmukh has had a mixed year till now. He has had two releases - Housefull 3 and Great Grand Masti, the former did well but the latter tanked. He is now coming up with Banjo, which looks quite interesting. The teaser, trailer and even the stills from the movie look very intriguing. And now, the makers are releasing the first song of Banjo titled Bappa and it looks amazing!
We all know that Riteish is playing a banjo player in the film and in this song, we will see him play the instrument as well as sing and dance to ring in the festival of Ganpati. The film is set in Maharashtra, so how would a film set over here be complete without a Ganpati song? We had shown you the teaser of the song yesterday and now we have a still from the song.
We see Riteish wearing a shirt and bandana as he dances to the tunes of the song. But that isn't it! Check out his hands. When he joins his palms, you see the image of a Ganpati. The actor is welcoming the Lord and this tribute to the god is going to be really amazing. From the teaser itself, we can make out that the song will be really peppy and you will love to dance on it. In fact, it will surely be played at all the Ganpati mandaps across India this year! The new Ganpati anthem might be here!
Bappa Tu has been composed by Vishal and Shekhar and the former has sung it. Amitabh Bhattacharya has penned the lyrics. Starring Nargis Fakhri and Riteish, Banjo releases on September 23. Check out the first look of the song above and the teaser of the song right here:
