Amit Sadh and Manjari Fadnnis's ZEE5’s latest original film Barot House released on 7th August and received a positive response from the audience. The movie is about twisted suspense drama of a common household gripped by a heinous crime and suspicion.

The movie has received a lot of response from the viewers as well as the critics. It has received a lot of praises from the audiences. Leading portals like Film Companion said, “It has an interesting premise”. IANS gave it 2.5 stars and Times Now rated it 3.5 stars. Times Now said, “Barot House is a thriller, unlike any other Hindi film we have seen in a long time. Bugs Bhargava has done a remarkable job in helming such a complex film. This is not your run of a mill Bollywood thriller, so kudos to him for delivering a shocker. Bowled over by the second half of the film.” 3.5 stars on IWM Buzz and a fabulous review such as “The movie is amazing. The highlight factor remains the performances of the lead stars, Manjari Fadnnis and Amit Sadh, who simply managed to make acting look real in the true sense of the term. The expressions of sorrow, grief and madness are on point and it just won’t make you feel that it’s reel.” The Indian Express raved about child actor Aaryan Menghji and said, “Aaryan Menghji evoked complete revulsion and shock at a few places, so kudos to him.”
