Beyhadh begins with Maya (Jennifer Winget) giving the first vow that no one will come in between them. Arjun (Kushal Tandon) gives his hand and she smiles. Saanjh sees this and is flustered. Maya says you scored 100 per cent marks, she says for me every marriage is very important. She says marriage is a bond of seven births that cannot be broken. Arjun says you are mad in love much more than I am in yours. Next day, Maya sees mom I am leaving as I am late for a meeting. I will see you tomorrow. However, she does not see Jhanvi at home. She calls her but Jhanvi does not receive it. Maya says Ashwin if you do anything to my mom, I will not spare you. She asks the driver, who is also clueless. Maya calls up Arjun as well as his mom. Vandana takes the call and tells Maya that he is in a shoot. Maya rushes to the office. She finds Arjun in the photo studio and is in panic state. She says she is worried about her mom.

A girl tells Maya that Jhanvi is in the conference room. Arjun says you worried unnecessarily. Ashwin says she is safe with me. Maya angrily asks her where did she go? Jhanvi says I went to lawyer to take 49% stakes in this firm. She says I am your partner. She says I want to give my time to the firm so that you can concentrate on your married life with Arjun. She says this is blissful time. Maya says who will teach you to manage the firm? Jhanvi says Ashwin will....don't you remember he was also a photographer here. Maya gets annoyed and says I will resign from the firm. Jhanvi says Maya. Saanjh gets a call from her and she tells her to come to the conference room in 10 minutes. Maya gives the resignation letter to Jhanvi and says this belongs to you. She tells Jhanvi that the 51 per cent shares now belong to Arjun Sharma. He is stunned. Maya announces the new MD of Fashion and City is Arjun and I am only his wife. Saanjh tries to leave the room but Maya halts her.

She tells Jhanvi that she has worked hard for this company along with her for many years. And now it is time to give the responsibility to someone else. Maya says I am giving this to Arjun. Jhanvi and Ashwin are shocked, they say you all are not married yet. He asks her why is she doing all this? Maya says whatever is mine belongs to you. Ashwin says what if he runs away with the money. Maya tells him that Arjun is not his son but she is their daughter and they need to do this for her happiness. Maya emotionally blackmails Jhanvi into signing the papers. Though he refuses, she insists that Arjun takes it. Maya says if you do not sign then I will understand that you got together with Ashwin only to usurp this firm. Jhanvi says if my signing these papers will give you happiness, I will sign it. Jhanvi signs it. Maya hugs her mom and thanks Ashwin. Maya says I am giving my heart and soul to you, Arjun. He takes the papers and leaves. Saanjh exits the room.

Vandana is busy with Arjun's marriage prep. Suman comes there and tells Vandana that she will also help her. She says Saanjh has moved on and we need to as well. Saanjh meets Ashwin who tells her to make the papers with diligence. Arjun drags Maya and tells her do you want people to say that I married you for money. He says I am ready for anything but not this firm. Maya says love is total responsibility. She says even if Ashwin does anything to me and Ma, my firm will be safe. Maya says forget the world. Saanjh chances upon Maya's medical file. She sees that her medical insurance is rejected thrice. Saanjh says I am missing something about Maya. She wonders what is it...
