Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon recently arrived in the beautiful state of Arunachal Pradesh to kickstart the first schedule of their horror-comedy, Bhediya, which is directed by Bala and Stree helmer Amar Kaushik. Ahead of the shoot, the cast and crew met Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu at his office in Itanagar, where they greeted each other. Sharing the pics of their meet, Pema Khandu tweeted, "Pleased to meet Bollywood Star Shri @Varun_dvn Ji & @kritisanon Ji and their team during their call on. They are in Arunachal to shoot for the movie #BHEDIYA. Happy to know they are enjoying their time here and are keen on promoting #Arunachal as popular film destination."
His another tweet reads, "It was lovely meeting Shri @amarkaushik Ji, a popular Bollywood Director today during his call on with producer team of movie #Bhediya. Shri Kaushik Ji grew up in Arunachal. His father was a forest ranger who worked for the Indian Forest Service and his mother a school teacher."
Reportedly Varun Dhawan postponed his honeymoon to start the shooting of Bhediya as a source close to the film told us, “Varun has been excited about Bhediya. It is his second outing with Maddock Films, after the critical success of Badlapur and fans would get to see him in a very different film and avatar.” The film also features Abhishek Banerjee and Deepak Dobriyal in key roles. The story is written by Niren Bhatt who wrote the scripts for Bala, Made In China, Wrong Side Raju. So, are you excited for this venture? Tweet and let us know @bollywood_life.
