Salman Khan totally ruled our TV screens with yet another Weekend Ka Vaar of Bigg Boss 10. And the entertainment went up a notch higher when he was joined by Farhan Akhtar, Shraddha Kapoor, Purab Kohli and Arjun Rampal, who were there to promote their upcoming film, Rock On 2. And then in a major twist, Om Swami has been sent to secret room. And then Salman introduced the Immunity Medallion. The housemates are waiting in anticipation to get their hands on this ultimate power. So who wins it? Well, we'll find that out in tonight's episode of Bigg Boss 10. The episode started with Om Swami singing inside the restroom of the secret room. Gosh, the man is immensely funny. No wonder, Salman has been tripping on him.
Building on the curiosity level, Bigg Boss introduced the immunity task where the contestants were asked to bid a certain amount of money and the person bidding for the highest amount will walk away with the Immunity Medallion. But in the bargain, the winner’s bidding amount will be deducted from the show’s prize money.The contestants who placed the highest bids and gave a close competition to each other were Nitibha Kaul, Rohan Mehra, Rahul Dev, and Navin Prakash. But it was Nitibha, who won the Immunity Medallion and is safe from the evictions for two weeks. Talk about hitting a jackpot.
Next morning, the housemates woke up to the song Mere Piya gaye Rangoon and continued to be apprehensive about the day’s task. They got emotional thinking that how they will respond to their family members if they receive a call from them. Manoj Manu Punjabi spotted Mona Lisa crying and tried to calm her down.
Adding a new twist to the week’s nominations, Bigg Boss introduced the phone booth task where a phone receiver is placed atop a huge throne-like chair in the garden area. The contestant who ends up picking up the phone receiver first gets nominated. However, he or she can avoid being in the danger zone by convincing a fellow contestant, suggested by Bigg Boss, to make a sacrifice by performing a task. Very evil Bigg Boss, very evil.
Unaware of the consequences, Bani was the first one to pick up the phone is commanded by Bigg Boss to convince Gaurav Chopra to bleach his eyebrows. Worried about the consequences, Gaurav refused to do the task. However, Bani continued to convince him by saying “Koi Dost Nahi Hain Is Ghar Mein Mera”. Phir kya tha? Gaurav finally gave in and bleached his eyebrows.
Furthermore, Bani nominated Rohan to sit on the chair. He was asked to convince his former Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai co-star Karan Mehra to shred his wife Nisha Rawal’s picture that he received on Karwa Chauth. After thinking a lot, he too agreed and destroyed his wife's photo. Ouch!
Rohan then nominated Mona Lisa, who was asked to convince Manu to destroy his doll with a scissor that he received as a gift during Diwali. Without even thinking for a moment, Manu not only agreed but destroyed the doll himself and while doing it broke down into tears. It didn't stop there as he locked himself in the restroom and was heard weeping like a child. Sad.
Mona Lisa nominated Nitibha, who used one of the two immunities that she won earlier in the episode. Well played girl. Later, Nitibha nominated Gaurav, who was asked to convince Bani to destroy her jacket that she received as a gift from her friend Gauahar Khan on Diwali by dipping it in a bucket of paint. Returning the favour, she dipped in the paint bucket, of course with a heavy heart.
Clearly, tonight's episode of Bigg Boss 10 was a highly entertaining watch and without any doubt, we give it a Garma Garam on our Masala Meter.
