In one of the finest moments of Bigg Boss 10, contestant Mona Lisa got married to her long time boyfriend Vikrant Singh Rajpoot. Arrangements were made by the show runners for Vikrant to enter the house and propose marriage to his girlfriend, and when she said yes, arrangements were made for them to get married inside the house itself. Not much of Band Baaja Baaraat, but it was certainly a moment to cherish, and definitely made all die hard romantics look at the newly weds in awe. But not Karan Johar. He remarked that he'd sign Mona Lisa for a film deal, which will last longer than her marriage.
The popular filmmaker, who has some of best romantic movies in Bollywood to his credit, seems to be not convinced with the idea of a marriage on a reality show. As we know he is the judge, well more like life and soul, of the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. He was on Bigg Boss 10 to promote grand finale of his show, when he made the statement, in good humour, of course. Mona Lisa too put her funny bone on display as she has reacted saying, "If he has said that I am happy, because it means the deal will last for years and years,". And added that her marriage is going to be long lasting. Well, if Karan is a man of his words, get ready to see Bhojpuri star Mona Lisa make a debut with a Dharma venture. There were also rumours that the makers of Bigg Boss 10 paid a hefty amount to both Mona Lisa and Vikrant to marry on national television, but Mona Mona Lisa has put those rumours to rest and said, "It's sad that people think like that. It's the best day of my life, why should I take money for that. People making fun like this is not good. Vikrant and I know each other for eight years and were planning to get married anyway. He decided everything in consultation with my parents and I am very happy to have got married on TV, with the whole country witnessing it." For Karan, who helms movies like Student of the Year, and My Name is Khan, one would think that he is true blue believer of love in whichever form it comes. It's good to see he has a more pragmatic approach to it.
Talking about the marriage, Vikrant shut every tongue wagging about how he is going to disown Mona for her 'friendship' with Manveer Gurjar inside the house. We wish them all the happiness in the world, and hope their marriage won't go down the same path as the previous 'married on Bigg Boss' couple Sara Khan - Ali Merchant.
