Nobody expected Shwetha Menon, one of the strongest contestants of Bigg Boss Malayalam, to get evicted so soon. After all, she had everything to win this show. But like how they say expect the unexpected, things took a shocking turn with Shwetha's sudden exit from the show last night; that too in such a dramatic way. Mohanlal, the host of the show, asked both the nominees Shwetha and Ranjini to leave the house with their luggage, making everyone believe that it's a double elimination this week and that both are out from the house. The housemates were shocked and so were Shwetha and Ranjini.... but if only that was the only shocker in store for them. The moment Shwetha and Ranjini stepped out of the house, they were asked to move into a secret room and watch how the housemates are actually reacting to their eviction. While majority of them were upset; Suresh didn't hesitate from confessing that he's in fact happy that Shwetha and Ranjini are out of the show.
Mohanlal then got back to Shwetha and Ranjini, who pleaded the star host to send them back inside the house, especially Shwetha who said that she doesn't want to leave the show being labelled as a "liar". But unfortunately, Shwetha's 'lie' for self-defense was enough for the viewers to evict her from the show by giving her the least number of votes.
The good news is, Anjali Ameer, the first transgender actress, who made her debut as a lead heroine with a Tamil film Meranbu opposite Mamootty, has now entered the show as the new wild card. Yes! She got a warm welcome from everyone inside the house. It's left to see what's going to happen in the show, hereafter. Do you think Anjali will become the new favourite? Or are we in store for more controversies? Share your anticipations in the comments below and keep watching this space for more updates.
