NTR biopic starring Nandamuri Balakrishna or Ram Gopal Varma's Lakshmi's NTR: Which biopic are you more excited about?

It is now official, a biopic will be made on the legendary actor-politician NTR. Nandamuri Balakrishna who happens to be NTR's real life son will play the role in the film. The movie will be directed by Teja, who last directed Nene Raju Nene Mantri. The film will be produced by Nandamuri and two others. Fans must obviously be excited after all a film on an iconic actor in Telugu cinema is something to look forward to! Interestingly this biopic will not be the first one to be made. In fact this year itself, Ram Gopal Varma has confirmed a biopic on the same eminent personality. Bit his film comes with a controversial twist. Ram Gopal Varma's film titled Lakshmi's NTR is base don the life of the renowned actor but through the eyes of his second wife - Lakshmi Parvathi. The director also unveiled a poster featuring a women's legs, thus almost confirming the angle. Along with poster he wrote a small note introducing the biopic “One single step that created love in the heart of one man but also hatred in hundreds. But that single step also remotivated him to once again make millions of people love him. This is the story of Lakshmi's NTR. For those who don't know NTR's marriage to Lakshmi Parvathi was not taken well by fans and his own family members. In fact this relationship led to the downfall of his career. Reports suggest, he was ousted form the very party he had founded. If things weren't controversial enough, the film will be produced by a YSR leader, a member from an opposition party. The film is expected to release at the end of 2018. The cast is yet to be finalised. But considering the film would be about reliving controversies around the actor what remains to be seen is whether the film will see the light of day?
