Bipasha Basu shines in a bright red silk saree as she dances to the tune of Bipasha Bipasha. On Dussehra, Bipasha shared a Reel on her Instagram account, showcasing her bright red silk saree. With an exquisite bong-inspired look, the 46-year-old actress recreated her famous song, Bipasha Bipasha, from the movie Jodi Breakers after 13 years. She accessorised her festive attire with large chandelier earrings, a striking necklace, and a ring. Her makeup was bold, featuring a red bindi, accentuated eyes, red sindoor, and her hair styled in a tidy bun adorned with a gajra. Along with the reel, Bipasha shared a playful story about her child pulling at her saree. She wished her followers a Happy Dussehra. The caption reads: “So I got inspired by all of you who did the very glamorous transition reels to my song #bipasha. For those unfamiliar, an old video of Mrunal surfaced in August 2025, where she made fun of the Raaz actress. One fan noted, “Where is Mrunal? Tell her it’s bong beauty. Earlier this year, in August 2025, a throwback video of actress Mrunal Thakur from her Kumkum Bhagya days resurfaced online, where she was seen joking with her co-star about women with muscular physiques. In the video, Mrunal suggested that if he wanted to marry a ‘manly woman’ with muscles, he should choose Bipasha Basu. She further claimed that she was ‘far better’ than Bipasha. This comment did not sit well with many, and later it reached Bipasha as well. On August 13, 2025, Bipasha posted a cryptic message on her Instagram stories, indirectly addressing Mrunal’s comment. She said, “Strong women lift each other up,” and told women to embrace strength and muscles. Although she never directly named Mrunal, her message was said to be a classy and strong response. The next day, on August 14, 2025, Mrunal publicly apologized on her Instagram story. She acknowledged that as a 19-year-old, she had said many stupid things without understanding her impact. She also clarified that her intention was never to shame Bipasha Basu’s body.
