One half of the Colonial Cousins turns a year older today
Born on April 3 1955, to a Iyer family in Kerala Hariharan, son of renowned Carnatic vocalists, Shrimati Alamelu and the late Anantha Subramani Iyer turns 59 today. This talented singer has quite a few melodious hit numbers to his credit. One of the first Indian Ghazal singer/composer, he has rendered about 200 Hindi songs, over 500 Tamil songs and a hundred odd songs in other languages like Bengali, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Marathi.
