Rudhramadevi

After delivering a female oriented hit flick with Arundhati, Anushka Shetty had donned the warrior queen avatar for Rudhramadevi. Playing the queen from Kakateya dynasty, Anushka seemed to have put in a lot of effort learning to sword fight and ride horses. Sporting armour and breast plate during war scenes in the film, Anushka looked every bit as the determined warrior queen.

Size Zero

No heroine in recent times has had the courage and the audacity to gain a lot of weight for a role, but Anushka is no normal heroine. From being a slim and boasting an hour glass figure, Anushka surprised everyone with her obese girl act in Size Zero. Looking incredibly cute in the promos, Anushka's earnest portrayal of overweight woman wins you over. Her physical transformation for this role deserves standing ovation.
