The year 2018 has seen the launch of quite a few new shows. That means we have a host of new jodis to look forward to. Now, it is not an easy task for a new jodi to create space in a viewer's heart when we already have the likes of Nakuul Mehta - Surbhi Chandana, Zain Imam - Aditi Rathore in the business of winning hearts. However, a few new pairs have managed to create a solid impact. We have Ashish Sharma and Sonarika Bhadoria from Prithvi Vallabh, Harshad Chopra - Jennifer Winget from Bepannaah and others. Here is a list...
Ashish Sharma - Sonarika Bhadoria (Prithvi Vallabh)
Ashish Sharma is known for his good work on shows like Rangrasiya and Siya Ke Ram. The hunk plays the role of a compassionate warrior Prithvi on this show while Sonarika Bhadoria is the fiery princess Mrinal with vendetta on her mind. Both the actors are in fine form on the show, which is also a pretty engrossing one. Fans have liked Ashish and Sonarika's chemistry, which has adequate doses of passion and rebellion. On the show, she wants revenge but he has instantly fallen in love with her beauty. Sonarika is looking stunning and Ashish also looks great with that huge mane.
Jennifer Winget - Harshad Chopra (Bepannaah)
It would be a tricky situation for any maker to find a solid actor to match Jennifer Winget's screen presence and performance, especially after what she did with Beyhadh. The makers of Bepannaah zeroed in on Harshad Chopra as her love interest in the romantic thriller Bepannaah. Harshad was away from TV for three long years and is rated as one of the best actors in the industry. Whether it is Left Right Left or Humsafar, he has always given good performances. In this show, he plays a pilot. Girls are already crushing on him.
Adnan Khan - Eisha Singh (Ishq Subhan Allah)
There are very few shows centered around minority communities, Ishq Subhaan Allah is one of them. The show has taken off very well on the BARC charts. It is the story of a girl Zara Siddiqui who is against the concept of Triple Talaq, which has been a contentious issue in recent times. The makers are dealing with a tough topic but the story-telling is fine till now. Adnan plays a good guy, who is bit of a traditionalist while Zara has far progressive views. People are enjoying their budding relationship, where both of them are quite confused.
Namit Khanna - Palak Jain (Yeh Pyaar Nahi Toh Kya Hai)
One of the handsomest men on the Indian TV screen right now, Namit Khanna has wowed all the girls as the ambitious and brooding Siddhant on the show. It is a love story that is slightly different as the two characters have a past history. Palak Jain is proving herself as a restrained performer. The chemistry between the two is not in your face like many other dailies and a lot more realistic. They look great together and fans are keen to what does their second innings have in store for them.
