It seems sequels to early 2000s blockbusters has become the new thing in Bollywood. While Bhool Bhulaiya 2 and Hungama 2 are already expected to hit the screens after the pandemic crisis of COVID-19, recently producer filmmaker confirmed Hera Pheri 3. And now the latest reports suggest that the sequel of Hulchul is in works. The 2004 comic caper featured Akshaye Khanna, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Amrish Puri, Jackie Shroff, Paresh Rawal, Arbaaz Khan, Suniel Shetty and Arshad Warsi in lead roles. Apparently, the development in nascent and it is unclear whether the original cast or director Priyadarshan will come on board for Hulchul 2. Well, watching the camaraderie between Akshae Khanna, Arshad Warsi and Paresh Rawal along with charming appearance of Kareena will be a treat for the audience.

On the professional front, Akshaye Khanna will soon start the shooting of Vijay Gutte's Legacy, where he will be paired opposite Raveena Tandon. The drama series would be shot across multiple countries. Talking about it, the actor said in a statement, "It is refreshing to work on content that challenges our boundaries as an industry as a whole. Given the massive scale of the show, we are cognizant of the immense responsibility to deliver our bests to create a content piece the audience looks forward to. I'm glad legacy is going to be my first web series."

On the other hand, Kareena Kapoor will be next seen in Laal Singh Chaddha along with Aamir Khan. Talking about the film, we all know that it is a remake of Tom Hanks' Forrest Gump. The latter was based on a 1986's novel by the same name, written by Winston Groom. Tom Hanks played the lead character alongside Robert Wright and Gary Sinise. It is written by popular actor Atul Kulkarni and directed by Secret Superstar helmer Advait Chandan. She will also be seen in Karan Johar's Takht, which features Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar in key roles.
